Working with the Media

Rob Walters is fully accustomed to media exposure, at all levels. He appears regularly on Television and radio, both nationally and internationally, particularly in Europe and throughout North and South America, and Asia.

His unique talents and achievements with soccerball have received the highest recognition, with coverage at the BBC Sports Awards.

He has also starred in a major Nike commercial, which received worldwide acclaim, for its creative excellence. The advert featured “the cream” of the games top talents and was filmed in Rome in a make believe ‘prisonship’!

Rob’s charitable pursuits include being part of a Celebrity Team featuring other stars such as Gary Linekar and Rory McGrath for Comic Relief. Rob continues to contribute to the fund- raising aims of Children In Need.

Due to the spectacular nature of Rob’s talent and his preparedness to confront a challenge, Rob has appeared on “You Bet” TV show on four separate occasions!

Rob’s presence was also requested on “What’s Up Doc”, and he has also appeared on two episodes of “They Think It’s All Over” and has filmed commercials in Canada for Pfizer, the major multi-national pharmaceutical company, where he starred alongside the legendary Pele.

Rob has appeared on Fox Kids TV, and is a regular visitor to GMTV and has even appeared in an episode of Coronation Street and regularly appears alongside the likes of Gary Lineker, Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson.

Due to a high demand for a product that teaches the fantastic freestyling skills and tricks the youngsters admire, Rob was commissioned to produce a DVD entitled ‘Trick Soccer – Freestyle Master Class’ which has had an unbelievable response from the eager to learn kids and adults alike.

He has also just finished filming a soon to be aired documentary in which he is one of the featured footballers, called the ‘Urban Freesstyler’

Rob also starred in a film entitled “My Summer With Des“, which was filmed on location in London and Paris with Neil Morrissey.
